Subject: VA Workshop on Time-stamping and Time Synchronization: Getting to a Single Consistent Timeline - Afternoon of March 5th in Washington DC
TWG, TCWG, CCEs,
Existing methods for time-stamping and time synchronization between medical devices, application hosting devices and WAN Receivers were recently reviewed by several members within Continua and outside SDOs. The result of this assessment has yielded new draft requirements and recommendations for how remotely monitored medical devices and systems can more accurately track and report time to better facilitate accurate correlation and processing of the observation data. The hope, once finalized, is that these new requirements and recommendations will provide clear guidance to device and systems manufacturers on how to ensure a single consistent timeline.
We are attaching the draft text for your review and feedback. In the afternoon (1:00 to 5:00 PM) of March 5th, 2014, there will be a VA Workshop dedicated to concluding next actions for this recommendation. The VA Workshop is open to interested parties and will be held at the IBM Institute for Electronic Government located at 600 14th Street NW * 2nd Floor * Washington, DC 20005 * (202)-551-9499.
Please provide your feedback to the attached text and your intentions toward attending the VA Workshop directly back to me at mkirwan(a)continuaalliance.org<mailto:mkirwan@continuaalliance.org>. Please note that space is limited so please RSVP.
Thank you,
