*** posted on behalf of Mr Masahito Kawamori *** Dear Q13/16 experts This is to announce the provisional agenda of our upcoming meeting during the Joint Rapporteur Meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, 11-14 September 2007. The terms of reference/objective for this meeting is contained in the report of the Working Party 2/16 meeting at: http://www.itu.int/md/T05-SG16-070626-TD-PLEN-0403/en Rev.2 The ultimate goal of this meeting is to come up with the work plan and roadmap of the activities of the Question 13. The following are more specific discussion items: * The general model of IPTV, from the standpoint of application, middleware and end-systems. * Review of the relevant documents, including those of FG IPTV. * Analysis of gaps that haven't been taken into account or not well-documented by the current standards. * the structure of the Recommendations to be created. We especially need a good discussion on the general model of IPTV. We will devote the morning 12th September to the general discussions, and will hopefully have some additional activities during the rest of Wednesday. I apologize for the relatively short notice, but considering that we are very close to the summer holidays, we would appreciate your response as soon as possible.
