Q3/16 and Q5/16 Experts, Almost all of the documents for the meeting have now been posted. Please see this page for a complete list of documents and links thereto: http://ftp3.itu.int/av-arch/avc-site/2013-2016/1411_Seo/1411_Seo.html As I noted in my last email, you can submit a request for a TD number via the link at the top of the HTML page. You can then see your request appear in the list of registered TDs. I will assign numbers in sequential order as per that list, so you can more efficiently prepare and number your TDs. (Note that the list of TDs on Google may contain some not presently listed in the HTML document mentioned above. This is to be expected since requests do go in faster than I can make updates. I will attempt to keep the documents in sync, but please refer to the link at the top of the HTML page for the more recent TD requests.) Cheers! Paul

Processing Documents for the Seoul Meeting

Folks, I received a number of documents for the Seoul meeting already. Just as a reminder, the document deadline is Monday at midnight UTC time. I still have one that I received that I'm holding for minor formatting corrections, but will have posted within 24 hours along with any others received during that time. I have also opened the submission form for TD numbers. Notice of interim Rapporteur meeting (3-7 November 2014)

WP1/16 Experts, As announced one month ago, we intend to hold an interim Rapporteur Group meeting of Questions in ITU-T WP1/16. Previously, we proposed holding a meeting of all Questions, but it has been decided that Q1, Q2, and Q21 will not meet during this time. However, Q3 (H.248) and Q5 (Telepresence) will meet. Interim Rapporteur Meeting

WP1/16 Experts, As Mr. Luthi stated, we will not hold Q1 or Q2 meetings in Seoul. However, I do want to clarify that Q3 and Q5 will be meeting. Both of those Questions have a reasonable number of contributions and attendees registered to have a productive meeting. Q21, on the other hand, is still in doubt. Thus far, we have not received any contributions, though there are a number of active work items and the meeting in Sapporo was rather busy. Thus, I'm surprised to see no input for Q21. If you are planning to submit contributions to Q21, I really need to have an indication of the number of documents you plan to submit by the end of the day on Monday, 6 October 2014. If there are an insufficient number of documents registered, we'll have to cancel the Q21 meeting, as well. Rapporteur meetings of Q1 and Q2 in November 2014

Dear experts, Yesterday, October 2, was the deadline that the Q1 and Q2 Rapporteurs set to make a final decision on having or not having a Q1 and a Q2 Rapporteur meeting in November in Seoul. We have not received additional indication for proposed contributions and we received some responses in favour of progressing our work by correspondence. As you know, under the ITU-T rules, we must have a significant number of both contributions and member organizations wanting to attend in order to justify an interim experts meeting. These criteria ensure the successful progress of our work. Unfortunately, this is not the case for either Q1 or Q2 this time. Therefore, we regretfully have to announce that there will be NO meetings of Q1/16 and Q2/16 in Seoul. Our next meeting will be in February 2015 in Geneva. Please note that this cancellation only concerns Q1/16 and Q2/16! In the interim, we encourage everyone to progress work by e-mail correspondence in order to have a fruitful SG16 meeting in February 2015.
