Facing problem in installing H323plus

Hi, I am trying to install Gatekeeper. I have installed pwlib and trying to install h323 plus. I have set the path as PWLIBDIR=/root/pwlib export PWLIBDIR OPENH323DIR=/root/open323 export OPENH323DIR LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$PWLIBDIR/lib:$OPENH323DIR/lib export LD_LIBRARY_PATH I also configured /etc/ld.so.conf include /root/pwlib/lib include /root/h323plus/lib Then I tried running ldconfig. But it gave "AVC access denied" Then I gave # ./configure #make opt Its giving error. /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lpt_linux_x86_r collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[1]: *** [/root/h323plus/lib/libh323_linux_x86_r.so.1.19-beta7] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/h323plus/src' make: *** [opt] Error 2 Please help me out. Presence Implementation complete & updates

Guys Just to let you know the h323plus presence implementation (after feedback and a few iterations) is now finished and a sample application is available in the extensions/h460/h460.presence directory of the CVS. The GnuGk implementation will be available in the GnuGk CVS after the next release 2.2.7. The implementation is fully ASN.1 encoded and does not require a seperate presence service and should work with just an h323plus endpoint and GnuGk gatekeepers. All H.460 examples now support VS 2003,2005 & 2008. Look out for a couple more H.460 examples to be added in the coming weeks. :) GnuGk NAT traversal (as in PacPhone) is in the h323plus CVS and is enabled by default. There is no special settings, if you register from behind a NAT to GnuGk on a public IP you should be able to send and receive calls without any problems. :) Another cool feature is H.460.interop in extensions/h460 CVS directory which allows h323plus to seemlessly interwork with NetMeeting without need to change fast connect settings etc. The feature requests the remote devices name in the ARQ and if that device is netmeeting then it disables fast connect etc on that call. The feature does requires GnuGk v2.2.7 which should be released in the coming weeks. Things are beginning now to settle so we will do the stable release v1.20 shortly. If anyone has bugs etc then please do let me know. Simon

Hi, What I've done is, I've added all capabilities first and then set the topmost priority for "H.263" (which I assume is dynamic and works for all sizes including 4CIF). In H323EndPoint derived class, AddAllCapabilities(0, P_MAX_INDEX, "*"); PStringArray preferenceorder; PString str3_4cif = "H.263"; preferenceorder.AppendString(str3_4cif); capabilities.Reorder(preferenceorder); This transmits the video to remote site successfully but is not able to show the received video. If CIF is selected at remote site, video is displayed on both sides successfully. But if 4CIF is selected, video is not shown on any side. Please Help. Thanks in advance. Taranpreet

H323_H224 Receiver channel problem

Hi Simon For h323_h224 OpenLogicalChannel(*capability,RTP_Session::DefaultH224SessionID,H323Channel::IsBidirectional); it calls capability.CreateChannel(connection, H323Channel::IsTransmitter, sessionID, NULL); through OpenWhileLocked() Which opens transmitter channel only When will reciever channel open? I am not able to open receiver channel Please reply Regards Alam

Hi Simon I have taken a latest h323plus lib through VCS today. here remoteCapabilities.FindCapability("H.224") fails as BOOL H323_H224Capability::OnReceivedPDU(const H245_DataApplicationCapability & pdu) returns false alam.

Dynamic Bandwidth Management!!

Hi By dynamic bandwidth management I mean that when a video call is in progress , the bandwidth keeps on increasing or decreasing, So does h323+ takes care of that and keeps the bitrate of encoder in control by some means.Supposeencoder is producing more no of bits for a frame than can be send on currnet available bandwidth. how does H323 deal with that?
