How to compile G.728?

Hi everybody, I'm studying vocoders and need to compile G.728 into h323plus-v1_20_2. I don't know how to compile its, because the source is a library .a . Could you tell me how to do this? Thank you. Question about H.460.18 in CVS repository

Hi Simon While I was synchronizing my sources I realized that the H.460.18 is also in the 'extensions' diretory. Is that a patch to the H.460.18 and H.460.19 sources presents in h323plus source? Thanks in advance. ----- Jogue RPG, alimente o lado criativo!

how to switch a point-to-point conference to multi-party conference

Hi What is the standard way to switch a point-to-point conference to multi-party conference? (The condition is that the codec used in multi-party conference is not same as that in point-to-point call, for example, when in p2p call the endpoint communicate using H.264, and in multi-party confernce they use H.263 codec ) The SONY PCS endpoint's method is that the ep close all logical channels and re-issue capability, then re-open logical channel. Problem connecting with Polycom VSX 7000

Hi Has anyone ever tried t connect to Polycom VSX 7000 using H323+. I am trying to do it with both H.261 and H.263. It works fine with H.261 but with H.263 no image is displayed on Polycom side. The call statistics of Polycom show frame rate of 25 but video is blank. i guess there might be some problem with H.263 plugin. Polycom and my machine are on the same LAN. Does anyone have any idea about this problem? please help.

How to know about the remote sides H.239 capabilities?

Hi Does anyone have any idea about how to know whether the remote side with which connection has been established supports H.239 or not. R Right now I try to open an extended session and check its return value. Is there any call in H323Plus which returns the H.239 capability status of remote side.Since we have already exchanged the capabilities, this information must be available somewhere. Please help!!

Message waiting indications(MWI) for Voicemail messages

Hi all , I have a requirement to support MWI in my device, which has support to both SIP and H.323. I see that there is H.450.7 Supplementary Service for that in H.323. But i am not sure practically it is being used in normal deployments. I am trying to find if Asterisk or any other opensource PBX support it.From my analysis i see that Asterisk does have support to MWI for SIP . But could not find out how is the notification done for H.323. Does anybody here have any idea how is it done for H.323 endpoints ? What is the normal means/procedure by which an IP-PBX provides MWI for Voicemail messages to the H.323 endpoints ? Awaiting an earliest positive response . Thanks & Regards, Anisha

Server for testing

Hi , I need an opens source or freeware server that can provide Voice Mail ,Conferencing and Mobility functionalities to H.323 and a SIP endpoints. Is Asterisk the only option or are there any other such servers available for testing ? Kindly do provide your valuable suggestions .Awaiting an earliest response. Regards, Anisha

Your support solved my problem, now I can use t38modem 1.0.1 with H323. Thanks. Where can I get support for T38Modem to make it work with OPAL ? I DL "cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@openh323.cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/openh323 co -D "5/21/2007 23:59:59" opal" but with no positive result... I can run configure only with: ./configure --disable-versioncheck --enable-localspeex After I get a binary, t38modem it's looking for lib pwlib 1.12... with now is 2.0.1 :) Renameing 2.0.1 lib to 1.12, won't help... Plug in for H.264 codec

Hi , I want to know if the H323Plus code, has support for H.264 Plug-in ? Are there any sample code or application avaiable for the same. We need to have a videoconferencing application with H.264 support. Is it possible to use H323Plus for the same and what amount of implementations will be required for it.
