[itu-sg16] Common Alerting Protocol (CAP)

Q2 Experts,

During the last SG16 meeting, we received a liaison from SG17 on the work they did on the Common Alerting protocol (CAP). See TD-352/Gen.

This has now been posted to the ITU web site in pre-published state as ITU-T Recommendation X.1303:

An action item we have for Q2 is to document how this protocol might be carried within H.323. There are a few possibilities, including a non-call associated supplementary service or merely as an H.460.x data that might get inserted in the SETUP message.

Is anybody planning to write a contribution for the next Rapporteur's meeting and/or would anybody like to collaborate with me on doing that?
