Hi,

since the H.264 question seem to pile up here, I took OPAL Wolf (3.4.5) and compiled the plugins to see why H.264 won't load. When I trace what happens, the codec is loaded, but the capability type doesn't match the code H323Plus is expecting for a generic video capability and thus no capability is created and the codec won't show up.

If anyone is interested in getting this to work, I would suggest you look at the revision history of OPAL's opalpluginmgr.cxx and compare it to h323pluginmgr.cxx in H323Plus. http://opalvoip.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/opalvoip/opal/trunk/src/codec/opa...

I would assume there is quite a bit of work left to get the generic video capabilities in H323Plus to work properly.

please help me, I really need to know how to add H.264 support to openMCU. I'm using h323plus 1.20.5, ptlib 2.6, ffmpeg 0.5 and openMCU 2.2.3. I've compiled Opal to generate plugins like H.263, H.264, G.722, etc... but when I run OpenMCU, it don't use H.264 codec, it find H.261, H.263 and MPEG4, bu it don't use H.264....

I read that H.264 is aplicated by H.245... I read too tha have a lot persons who added H.264 support in their openMCU, but they don't talk who did that.

How can I do that?

I really need to know that
