Dear Experts of 2, 3, 4, 5, 12, 13, 21, 22, 25 and 29/16,

The subject meeting of ITU-T SG16 experts will be held in Seoul, Korea,
at the kind invitation of MIC/TTA (Korea). Details of the meeting are
contained herein.

Please note that this meeting is co-located with the NGN GSI event, the
IPTV GSI event, JCA-NID meeting and some other meetings (see TSB
Circular 174 <http://www.itu.int/md/T05-TSB-CIR-0174/en>). Participants
are encouraged to attend also those meetings on the days preceding or
following our Rapporteur meeting period.


1. Date
^^^^^^^

17 (Thursday) - 23 (Wednesday) January 2008
Meeting will start at 9:00 on the first day and close around 18:00 on 
the final day. No meeting sessions are planned on 19 Saturday and 20 
Sunday unless otherwise decided during the meeting.

Please note that Q13 and Q21 meet additionally on 15 (Tuesday) and 16 
(Wednesday) January as part of the IPTV GSI event.

    possible, by 23:59 UTC, Monday, 7 January 2008 at the latest.
    Document number AVD-nnnn will be allocated. Early indication of your
    submission plan is welcome and encouraged.

    Note - Prefix "AVD" comes from Audio, Video and Data.

2) You are advised to use the document template available at the

6. Registration and VISA Information

To register your meeting attendance, please send TSB the from in Annex
10 to TSB Circular 174 by 14 December 2007.

Please note that the NGN-GSI event is this time a collection of SGs 11,
13 and 19, hence the participation in those SG meetings may need to go
through the national procedures.

We would remind you that citizens of some countries are required to
obtain a visa in order to enter and spend time in Republic of Korea. The
visa must be requested and obtained from the office (embassy or
consulate) representing Korea in your country. Request form for Letter
of Invitation for issuing visa can be found in Annex 9 to TSB Circular
174 or in Annex 2 to the host's invitation.
