Dear WP2/16 experts,
1/ Two new Questions have been created, pending the review by TSAG in
December 2007 and the approval by SG16 at the next meeting in April
2008
Q12 Advanced multimedia system for next generation and other
packet-switched networks (Rapporteur: Mr Paul Jones, Associate
Rapporteur: Mr Brody Kenrick)
Q13 Multimedia application platforms and end systems for IPTV
(Rapporteur: Masahito Kawamori)
They start to work immediately.
2/ Achievements of WP2/16
The meeting report and outgoing liaison statements have been uploaded
to the avc-site:

Section 3.1.2 lists draft Recommendations for Consent and Section
3.1.2 lists documents for Approval. Sections 3.1.4 through 3.1.14
provide executive summaries of Questions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 21, 22, 24,
25, 28 and 29.
3/ Work programme
This is now available on-line with different views. Please visit the
SG16 page <http://www.itu.int/ITU-T/studygroups/com16/index.asp> -
Information - Work Programme. Modifications made at the end of last
week will soon be reflected there.
4/ Interim activities
The following two Rapporteur meetings collocated with the NGN-GSI
event are planned:
* 11-14 September 2007, Geneva -- Q12 (AMS), Q13 (IPTV), Q21 and Q22
* 16-22 January 2008, Seoul -- Q1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 12, 13, 21, 22, 24, 25, 29
