WP2/16 Rapporteurs' Meeting in Ottawa

All,

As most of you know, I offered to host the interim Rapporteurs' Meetings
for WP2 in Ottawa in late August.  This has not changed -- in fact, I am
just about to send the invitation so that the Rapporteurs can announce
the meeting.  However, a late-breaking issue has come up, and I will
need your help in order to keep the hotel charges reasonable.

I need to get an approximate count of who will be at the meeting.  This
is not a registration -- details on that will come later -- but is
rather an estimate of how many folks will be coming so that I may
reserve a block of rooms at the meeting venue.  By getting this count, I
hope to approximately halve the hotel cost for the delegates, but also
to avoid getting stuck with the room charges if we overbook the hotel by
a large margin.

Please respond to *ME* (kboyle at nortel.com) if you are currently planning
on attending the meeting, which will run from August 28 through
September 1.  Also give me an estimate for when you will be
arriving/departing.  This will allow me to reserve a block of rooms that
fits with our meeting and the travel needs of the delegates.

As I said before, logistics and registration information will be
forthcoming in the next 1-2 weeks.
