Dear Osaka meeting participants,

Here is some more information for the Osaka meeting.

1.      Ground transportation from Kansai International Airport to Rihga
Royal Hotel

We suggest taking a limousine bus from Bus Stop No. 5. There is one direct
bus leaving the airport at 17:45 with the final destination Rihga Royal
Hotel.

Others, leaving every 20 or 30 minutes, go up to JR Osaka Station. Riding
time is about 60 minutes, costing 1,300 Yen. Please get off at Herbis Osaka
Station that is the first stop from the airport (and the second last stop
of the line). Then you need to walk five minutes, going between the central
post office and the JR Osaka station from south to north (see the attached
map). You will find Rihga Royal Hotel courtesy bus stop at the north exit
of JR Osaka Station, which finally takes you to the hotel in 10 minutes.

An alternative is to take a taxi where you get off the limousine bus at the
Osaka station. The taxi cost is about 1,000 Yen.

If you take a taxi from the airport, its cost is around 18,000 Yen

2. Registration

We will accept your registration from 14:00 to 19:00 on Sunday at
Secretariat Room 1201. You can also register before the meeting starts on
Monday, or at any time. We suggest you to register on Sunday to avoid
congestion on Monday.

Please prepare 20,000 Yen in cash, Visa or MasterCard.

When you register, please indicate if you participate in the working dinner
on Wednesday and if you are accompanied by someone.

3.      File server and Internet access

The meetings are paperless. The network will be connected to the Internet
provider in addition to a file server. Please bring your PC with Ethernet
card and cord (5 m long is suggested)
