Hi, all,

I would like to inform you on the most recent development in converging
SGCP and IPDC for IP device control. The merged protocol is called MGCP
(or media gateway control protocol). This is an important step towards
the realization of gateway decomposition for VoIP. I hope this will help
the new work item within SG 16 on the same issue.
