On the lines just below the lines you posted should say this.

dyna.cxx(141)              DYNA Successfully loaded 'libavcodec.so'

dyna.cxx(411)  H264   DYNA Successfully loaded libavcodec library and
verified functions

h264-x264.cxx(1415)  H264   Codec  Enabled

I have installed the "libavcodec-dev" library but not getting above ".so".

You should see this.

If you make install on the h323plus/plugins directory it should be detected.

 

Just make sure it is in one of the above directories.

Thanks for your reply.

I set environmental variable "PTLIB_TRACE_CODECS=4" and copied
"h264_video_pwplugin_helper"  in "samples/simple/obj_linux_x86" dir but
still getting same error: 

ERROR: H.264 plugin couldn't find GPL process executable:
h264_video_pwplugin_helper

and also  I am not able to see the directories the plugin searches for the
X264 helper.

I have complied H323 plus on my x86 platform running ubuntu 10.04. When I am
using simph323 application to make audio & video call, application getting
hang. below is the last lines of log message:
