Agreed I have a few larger commits but can hold off. 
Let's do a release with the current CVS which has been stable for some time.

I would like to propose a different release strategy: Lets try to do
releases of code that has been tested a while. We could either do a release
of the current code (my preference) or wait for your commits and let them be
used and tested for a month or two.
