Unfortunately Kevin Boyle has confirmed that he will no longer be able be editor of several H.248 Recommendations/IGs. Thus the following documents require new editors: o H.248.43 Gate Management Packages o H.248.57 RTCP Packages o H.248 Sub-Series IG o H.248.1v2 IG
Albrecht Schwarz has volunteered to be the editor of H.248.57. Yangbo Lin has volunteered to be the editor of H.248.43.
The H.248 Sub-Series IG and H.248.1v2 IG editorships are vacant. So any volunteers are welcome. If there is no interest then I can assume the temporary editor role.
As Rapportuer I would like to appoint them as temporary-editors until they can be approved by a WP/SG meeting. Please let me know if you have any concerns.
I would again like to thank Kevin for his hard work and support over the last several years editing many H.248 Recommendations including: H.248.1v3,16, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 35, 44, IGv1, IGv2 and IG Sub-series.

I understand your job has shifted to IPTV. SG16 is trying to be the home for substantial parts of the FG IPTV outcome. I hope we can be together again in another field of the SG16 standardization.
