Forgive me if this is irrelevant, but the phrase "range of multicast addresses that were allocated for site specific definition" came up in the recent meeting of IETF Working Group SVRLOC (Service Location). The action was on the Working Group Chair (Erik Guttman, Sun) to get the necessary provision into the MBone Draft.
