Hi All: I have re-enabled the ITU-SG16 mail list for public postings. I turned off public postings temporarily due to a message looping condition Monday night (US west coast time). I considered keeping the list "private" where postings are open only to those subscribed to the list (there's an open subscription policy). But it turns out there's a problem with embedded mail lists where individuals who are on a company mail list that is on the ITU-SG16 mail list. Those individuals would not be able to post to the ITU-SG16 mail list if it were kept "private." I will see if any other measures can be taken to reduce the exposure to mail loops.
