Dear all

A clarification in the 2nd bullet, below (in red). The template I refer there is the template to use when uploading contributions via DDP.

Sorry about the lack of precision.

Simão

Subject: [T16WP3] FW: Date for Contributions being uploaded should now be January 2015 (not December 2014)
Importance: High

Dear all

As a reminder:

·         The date that should appear in the upper right corner of uploaded contributions must be January 2015. Not December 2014, not February 2014 (no day, only month and year). I received a substantial number of contributions that say that the meeting date is either December 2014, or February 2014. For those, I will need to prepare an R1.

·         Over the weekend, we also received a number of contributions submitted via DDP that are using the WRONG document template for DDP submissions; for example, C.771 (http://www.itu.int/md/T13-SG16-C-0771/en) uses the e-mail submission or TD generic template. The right template for Contributions submitted via DDP can be downloaded from here: http://www.itu.int/oth/T0A0F000027/en

·         Finally, I kindly ask that you prefix the title of the contribution with the recommendation number when the contribution refers to an existing work item. Most of the contributions submitted follow this guideline, where applicable.

·         Contribution numbers: NO trailing zeroes to the left. For example: Bad = COM 16 – C 0751, Good =  COM 16 – C 751 (no 0's before 751!)

·         If you upload a revised version of your document, make sure to add R1, R2, etc to the document number (in TWO places in the document header!)

Thank you!

Simão

PS: Rapporteurs, please forward this message to your respective rapporteur group mailing lists!

Dear all,

Also, when contributions refer to an ongoing work item (or revised Recommendation), kindly prefix the title of the contribution with the recommendation number.  For example, for COM16-C.689:

·         H.248.SCTP: Appendix IV (signalling requirements) - Update of H.248 gateway control protocol requirements

This will make it easier to organize our work.

Thanks!

Simão

Dear all

(Happy new year!)

Attention! Date for Contributions should now be January 2015, not December 2014!!!

Please make sure before you upload that the correct date shows on the cover page. If not, select the date, press shift-F9 and retype as "January 2015".

Cheers,

Simão
