thanks for pointing this out. You are right: the mentioned Connect Acknowledge message is indeed forbidden.
I have no explanation why this contradiction remains there since H.235v1. I can only assume, that this must be an oversight since then that no one has noticed so far. It is absolutely not the intention of H.235 to mandate forbidden messages.
My proposal is to remove the contradiction here by deleting the two words "CONNECT ACKNOWLEDGE".
Any comments, objections?
I would file an entry to the H.323 Implementors Guide.

H.235v2 section 7.1 talk about receiving a CONNECT ACKNOWLEDGE message with insufficient security capabilities. Problem is that the CONNECT ACK message is forbidden in H.225.0.
Anybody knows what this is all about?
