Dear all,
in the Meeting Registration Form for the upcoming SG16 joint Rapp. meeting, I can see that it is requested to identify your passport (number, issuing dates). This is clearly a new and very unusual procedure for Rapporteur meetings!
Why is this necessary?
Further, as a European citizen, there is no need to carry around passports when travelling within the EC; the national identity card is fully sufficient.
So the question is: would national identity cards also be equally acceptable instead of passports ?
With kind regards
