Q.11 - 15/16 Experts:
Here's a few important details of the Portland meeting being held August 21 - 25.
1. The hotel will release the block of rooms on Monday, Aug 7th. We currently have half of the projected number of participants registered. This creates a problem for both Intel and the unregistered participants. The delay of registrations means that late-registrants may not get a room (there's few, if any, alternatives in this remote location) and Intel is liable for unused rooms. To avoid a meeting fee (due to the liability), we ask that everyone register as soon as possible. Registrations after Aug 7th will incur a late-registration fee of $300, charged by the hotel upon check-in. You may download the registration form from this URL: http://standard.pictel.com/ftp/avc-site/0008_Por/PortlandInfoPack.zip
If you cannot download the form or have difficulties with faxing it, please send mailto:valeriex.nester@intel.com. A signed form will still be needed but this will help avoid a late-registratin fee. Be sure to indicate your check-in and check-out dates, which Question you will attend and how many guests you will have attend the Event Dinner on Wednesday.
2. Several people have asked for true Kosher food. The hotel can arrange for a special delivery of Kosher if the meals are prepaid. Lunches are around $16 and dinners around $30. Please contact Janine Voudrie [Janine.Voudrie@theresort.com, +1-503-622-2221] with your requests and payment information. Orders will need to be received by August 14th.
