Some quick notes on the attached document:
- It's presumably SRV, not CRV, records you are talking about here.
- I agree that simplifying the current H.323 addressing "diversity" (to avoid using less flattering terms) would be the single most important item in simplifying interworking.
- The CPL authors are always open to suggestions on how to make the language less protocol-specific. Indeed, the next version will attempt to address some of these issues, but it's hard to do this without substantive input from the H.323 experts. The iptel mailing list is open to all. It would be preferable to have a single call processing language so that users can move services regardless of signaling protocol.
