The goals of APC-1429 are: (1) Provide guidance to the implementer on features of H.323 to implement. Since H.323 is feature-rich, it is important that there should be a basic profile. (2) Provide guidance to the implementer on how to fill the fields in the required messages so that interoperability among implementations is easier to achieve.

Can you please explain to me what the intentions of this document are ? Are we again defining H.323 v2 compliance, one year after H.323v2 was frozen?
