please note that the invite letter for the Joint ITU and G3ict Forum 2008 on "The Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: Challenges and Opportunities for ICT Standards", that will take place in Geneva on 21 April 2008 (the day before the start of the SG 16 meeting) is available in Circular Letter 191, see:

The event will focus on the importance of standards for enabling access of persons with disabilities to ICTs, with a practical perspective in mind, so we can identify actionable ways forward from it.
Please give this information the widest distribution possible, as we think it can positively affect and improve the excellent work we already do in SG 16.
