All, As most of you know, I offered to host the interim Rapporteurs' Meetings for WP2 in Ottawa in late August. This has not changed -- in fact, I am just about to send the invitation so that the Rapporteurs can announce the meeting. However, a late-breaking issue has come up, and I will need your help in order to keep the hotel charges reasonable. I need to get an approximate count of who will be at the meeting. This is not a registration -- details on that will come later -- but is rather an estimate of how many folks will be coming so that I may reserve a block of rooms at the meeting venue. By getting this count, I hope to approximately halve the hotel cost for the delegates, but also to avoid getting stuck with the room charges if we overbook the hotel by a large margin. Please respond to *ME* (kboyle@nortel.com) if you are currently planning on attending the meeting, which will run from August 28 through September 1. Also give me an estimate for when you will be arriving/departing. This will allow me to reserve a block of rooms that fits with our meeting and the travel needs of the delegates.
