Dear All,

I know this question would be asked before.

But I speeded 4 day's and still can find any workable solution to get started quickly.

I can't find anywhere version compatibility information and most time compilation failed.

I want to build and available a cross platform Video Conf solution. so I not only need to build and run but also customise it.

Please suggest me right way to get started for compilation and development.

Hi Simon,

Thanks a lot for suggestion.

Before I already try that but after your suggestion I try it with more attention.

With latest combination of ptlib & h323plus I use make all and it build successfully But I was geting problem in runing even if I installed shaired lib.

After some survey I try make bothnoshared and it works perfectly.

Hi Piyush,

the shared library versions should work, too, but its a lot less hassle to use optnoshared. Also, for now I would try to stay away from the latest PTLib version and stick with PTLib 2.8.4. Check out the compile notes for the GNU Gatekeeper: http://www.gnugk.org/compiling-gnugk.html

Those notes apply to most H323Plus based applications.

Hi Jan,

Thanks for information.

You are right it's good to build app staticly specially when need to test on different pc.

It's good to know known good combination of h323plus and ptlib.

Ooh Sorry,

Before few day's I was trying to build h323plus and after installing that It successes.

But I just noticed that it's ptlib is not PThread lib but it self portable library.

I will try to build it again if success I will update you.
